The Committee advises and makes recommendations to the academic board and / or other institute bodies or officers as appropriate on matters relating to teaching and learning and assessment in the institute, including:

• Monitoring, reporting and advising the Academic Board on learning, teaching, education and training activities and initiatives.

• Oversight the planning, strategy, implementation and review of the institutes learning and teaching framework.

• Activities related to learning, training and teaching, including student participation, retention and completion.
