The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) at Samskruti College of Engineering and Technology is committed to developing skilled professionals with a strong foundation in computer science, statistics, data management, data visualization, predictive analytics, and big data technologies. The curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills required to collect, process, analyze, and interpret data for solving business and societal challenges.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) was established with the inception of the institution in 2006 with an initial intake of 60 B.Tech students, which was enhanced to 120 students in 2007. The department is supported by experienced and dedicated faculty members, modern computing laboratories, advanced software tools, and an industry-oriented learning environment.

With a strong emphasis on academic excellence, practical skills, innovation, and industry readiness, the Department of Computer Science continues to prepare graduates who contribute significantly to the advancement of technology and society.

We update our self regularly to keep up with the growing demands and changing trends of the software industry and the research laboratories. It also provides an outstanding research environment complemented by superior teaching for its students to flourish in.The Department regularly organizes seminars, workshops, and guest lecturers for the students. Faculty Development Programs(FDP) are organized for faculty to promote high standards in technical education.

The teaching staff members are dedicated and determined to learn new things and never hesitate to give their best all the time.Department has 5 computer centers for UG students, 1 exclusive center for P.G students and 1 Elite Research and Development center apart from labs provided for other branches. All the computers in computer centers are connected via LAN. The department enforced association with professional societies like IEEE, CSI, INTEL etc.
