Dr. Matavalam Hari Prasad is an accomplished academician, researcher, and administrator with over a decade of experience in engineering education, research, institutional development, and quality assurance. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Samskruti College of Engineering and Technology.

He holds a Ph.D. in Machine Design and is presently pursuing the Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) in Machine Learning at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Raichur. His academic interests include Machine Design, Mechanical System Analysis, Metamaterials, Acoustic Superlens Structures, and Artificial Intelligence applications in engineering.

Dr. Hari Prasad actively contributes to institutional growth through multiple leadership roles, including Additional Controller of Examinations, IQAC Coordinator, President of the Institutional Innovation Council (IIC), and NSS Programme Officer. He has been instrumental in implementing quality assurance practices, accreditation initiatives, innovation ecosystems, student development programs, and examination reforms.

His research work in metamaterials and acoustic superlens structures has been published in reputed international journals. He has also participated in various Faculty Development Programs focused on research methodology, publication practices, and academic excellence.
