Laboratory Details:

The laboratories in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) are designed to provide students with a strong practical foundation in core electrical engineering and emerging technologies. These laboratories bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world engineering applications through hands-on experiments, simulation-based learning, and project-oriented activities.

The department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, including Basic Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Power Systems, Control Systems, Electrical Measurements, Network Analysis, Renewable Energy Systems and Electrical Simulation. These laboratories are furnished with modern equipment, advanced testing instruments, and industry-standard software to meet academic, research, and industrial requirements.

Students gain practical exposure using advanced software tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, ETAP, PSCAD, PSpice, LabVIEW, AutoCAD Electrical, and PLC/SCADA platforms, enabling them to model, simulate, analyze, and optimize electrical systems, power networks, control systems, and automation processes.

The laboratories not only support the academic curriculum but also encourage students to undertake innovative projects, research activities, internships, and interdisciplinary applications in emerging areas such as Smart Grids, Electric Vehicles (EVs), Renewable Energy Systems, Industrial Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Energy Management Systems, and Industry 4.0.

The department continuously upgrades its laboratory infrastructure in line with technological advancements and industry requirements. This ensures that students develop strong analytical, design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, preparing them for successful careers in industry, higher education, research, entrepreneurship, and public sector organizations.
