Dr. Anil Kumar Reddy is an accomplished academic leader and researcher currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering – Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (CSE-AIML). He brings a strong blend of teaching excellence, departmental leadership, and research expertise to his role.

He completed his postgraduate studies from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) and earned his Ph.D. in 2024 from Himalayan University, Arunachal Pradesh. His research interests lie at the intersection of agriculture and deep learning, with a special focus on plant disease detection and intelligent agricultural systems.

Dr. Reddy developed a novel deep learning-based algorithm named FUZZY LEAF NET for accurate and efficient identification of plant diseases. The proposed model integrates advanced fuzzy logic and deep learning techniques to improve disease detection accuracy and support precision agriculture. His research contributions have been published in Scopus-indexed journals, and the FUZZY LEAF NET innovation is currently under consideration for patent filing.

As the Head of the CSE-AIML Department, Dr. Reddy is committed to curriculum innovation, student mentoring, research promotion, and fostering strong industry-academia collaborations. His vision is to equip students with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, enabling them to excel in solving real-world challenges and contributing meaningfully to technological advancements.
